Lyon Wine Tasting in the Heart of the City
Discover the wines of Beaujolais, Burgundy, and the Northern Rhône in a relaxed, two-hour tasting led by a certified sommelier. Hosted in a beautifully restored 1800s silk factory apartment in Lyon’s Croix-Rousse district, this small-group experience is designed to be welcoming, educational, and above all, enjoyable. No tasting experience is required, just a shared passion for wine.
What to Expect
You’ll taste five carefully selected wines, each paired with cheese, charcuterie, and fresh bread sourced from Lyon’s top local artisans. With a maximum of nine guests per session, the format is intimate and interactive, allowing you to ask questions, compare regional styles, and come away with a fundamental understanding of French wine.
Daily tastings take place at 12 PM and 4 PM. The midday session includes additional seasonal sides and is ideal as a light lunch. Both sessions last around two hours.
