The Auvergne’s Saint Pourçain region was once a wine served to the Kings of Versaille, before a devastating global event almost destroyed the vineyards forever.

Visit this little known region and meet the winemakers who have devoted their lives to putting Saint Pourçain back on the map.

Your Expert Wine Teacher

Hi! I'm Caroline, and I love teaching people about wine. 

I've been in the wine business for 15 years so I know exactly how confusing and intimidating wine can be.

 

I'm a multi-passionate wine entrepreneur. Right now I host tastings and tours, run wine retreats, teach 4th year students of the International Wine and Beverage program at the Institut Paul Bocuse, have a podcast, and a youtube channel.

Originally from San Francisco, I got into wine during my undergrad in archaeology & anthropology at the University of Oxford, where I did competitive blind wine tasting. After that I stayed in London to study cooking at Le Cordon Bleu, and then sold wine to bars and restaurants for a couple years. I completed my Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level 4 Diploma in 2012.

I love cooking, karaoke, skiing, and Lyon.
